Marvin was born and raised in Hanford, California. He graduated
Hanford High School in 1951, and from San Jose State in 1955. He
returned to run the family business, Mirviss's dress shop until its
closing.
In 1989 Marvin and his wife Lou moved to Morgan Hill where they
enjoyed the community and his friends that lived there. Marvin was
active in the Rotary Club both in Hanford and in Morgan Hill.
