4. Charles (Marks)³ Marx (Abraham A.², Charles¹) was born in (Poland) Russia 1858. Charles died January 13, 1923 in Miami, FL, at age 64.

He married Minnie Susskind Michelson March 2, 1887 in Detroit, MI. Minnie was born October 27, 1867 in Podgorz, West Prussia. Minnie was the daughter of Minnie Michelsohn's father Susskind and Sarah Ascher. Minnie died April 20, 1941 in Rome, GA, at age 73.

Charles was employed date unknown. Charles immigrated to destination unknown 1880. When Charles was age 29 and Minnie Susskind Michelson was age 20 they became the parents of Emil (Marks) Marx December 5, 1887 in Detroit, MI. He petitioned the court to become a citizen October 1, 1888 in Detroit, MI. When Charles was age 30 and Minnie Susskind Michelson was age 21 they became the parents of Anna (Marks) Marx November 15, 1888 in Detroit, MI. When Charles was age 37 and Minnie Susskind Michelson was age 28 they became the parents of Leo (Marks) Marx April 30, 1896 in Detroit, MI. Charles was listed as the head of a family on the 1900 Census in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. When Charles was age 45 and Minnie Susskind Michelson was age 36 they became the parents of Harold (Marks) Marx May 12, 1904 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. Charles was listed as the head of a family on the 1910 Census in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. When Charles was age 54 and Minnie Susskind Michelson was age 44 they became the parents of Robert Arthur Marks August 11, 1912 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. Charles was listed as the head of a family on the 1920 Census in Miami City, Dade County, FL.

Charles (Marks) Marx and Minnie Susskind Michelson had the following children:

9 ii. Anna (Marks) Marx was born in Detroit, MI November 15, 1888. Anna died October 10, 1969 in Los Angeles, CA, at age 80. She married Harry Lowenthal November 15, 1911 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. Harry was born September 7, 1885 in Paulding, OH. Harry was the son of Max Lowenthal and Sarah Elisabeth Grubb. Harry died May 5, 1967 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH, at age 81. When Harry was age 29 and Anna (Marks) Marx was age 26 they became the parents of Barbara Ruth Lowenthal February 20, 1915 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. When Harry was age 32 and Anna (Marks) Marx was age 29 they became the parents of Dorothy Jane Lowenthal January 8, 1918 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. When Anna was age 26 and Harry Lowenthal was age 29 they became the parents of Barbara Ruth Lowenthal February 20, 1915 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH. When Anna was age 29 and Harry Lowenthal was age 32 they became the parents of Dorothy Jane Lowenthal January 8, 1918 in Toledo, Lucas County, OH.
