He married three times. He married Marian Alice VanNewKirk date unknown. Marian was born March 3, 1916 in Pittsburg, PA. Marian was the daughter of Oscar VanNewkirk and Cornealia "Cora" Butler Foulk. Marian died November 5, 1991 in Florida, at age 75. When Marian was age unknown and Julius "Jay" Freedman was age unknown they became the parents of Gayle Freedman date unknown in Michigan. When Marian was age 19 and Mickey "Max" Allowitz was age 26 they became the parents of Irving "Karl" Elsworth Allowitz February 3, 1936 in Detroit, MI.

When Mickey was age 26 and Marian Alice VanNewKirk was age 19 they became the parents of Irving "Karl" Elsworth Allowitz February 3, 1936 in Detroit, MI. When Mickey was age 31 and Jane Sparkowski was age 19 they became the parents of Ronald Allowitz November 8, 1940 in Detroit, MI. When Mickey was age 39 and Virginia Crew was age 25 they became the parents of Sandra Lynn Allowitz May 15, 1949 in Detroit, MI. When Mickey was age 44 and Virginia Crew was age 29 they became the parents of Timothy Ryan Allowitz October 27, 1953 in Detroit, MI.
