He married Jean Freda Attis January 15, 1931 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. Jean was born November 19, 1911 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. Jean was the daughter of Louis Attis and Vita Leah David. Jean died January 24, 1984 in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, at age 72. Her body was interred in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. When Jean was age 20 and Joseph Israel Attis was age 18 they became the parents of Rhoda Attis June 14, 1932. When Jean was age 23 and Joseph Israel Attis was age 21 they became the parents of Myron Edward Attis May 18, 1935.

When Joseph was age 18 and Jean Freda Attis was age 20 they became the parents of Rhoda Attis June 14, 1932. When Joseph was age 21 and Jean Freda Attis was age 23 they became the parents of Myron Edward Attis May 18, 1935.

Joseph Israel Attis and Jean Freda Attis had the following children:

3 ii. Myron Edward Attis was born May 18, 1935. Myron died 1988 in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, at age 53. His body was interred in Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada.
