2. Giuseppe² Canzanelli (Domenico¹) was born in Sulmona, Aquila, Abbruzzi, Italy April 23, 1861. Giuseppe died May 19, 1942 in Medford, MA, at age 81.

He married Filippa Trippitelli August 19, 1893 in Sulmona, Aquila, Abbruzzi, Italy. Filippa was born January 12, 1864 in Castiglione, Casauro. Filippa was the daughter of Ettore Trippitelli and Elvira Quattrocchi. Filippa died January 28, 1946 in Medford, MA, at age 82. When Filippa was age 30 and Giuseppe Canzanelli was age 33 they became the parents of Andrew Senior Canzanelli November 19, 1894 in New York, NY. When Filippa was age 32 and Giuseppe Canzanelli was age 35 they became the parents of Raffaele Maceo Canzanelli December 19, 1896 in New York, NY. When Filippa was age 34 and Giuseppe Canzanelli was age 37 they became the parents of Attilio Canzanelli October 21, 1898 in New York, NY. When Filippa was age 37 and Giuseppe Canzanelli was age 40 they became the parents of Pericles "Perry" Canzanelli November 11, 1901 in New York, NY. When Filippa was age 40 and Giuseppe Canzanelli was age 43 they became the parents of Raffaela Canzanelli June 21, 1904 in Brooklyn, NY.

When Giuseppe was age 33 and Filippa Trippitelli was age 30 they became the parents of Andrew Senior Canzanelli November 19, 1894 in New York, NY. When Giuseppe was age 35 and Filippa Trippitelli was age 32 they became the parents of Raffaele Maceo Canzanelli December 19, 1896 in New York, NY. When Giuseppe was age 37 and Filippa Trippitelli was age 34 they became the parents of Attilio Canzanelli October 21, 1898 in New York, NY. When Giuseppe was age 40 and Filippa Trippitelli was age 37 they became the parents of Pericles "Perry" Canzanelli November 11, 1901 in New York, NY. When Giuseppe was age 43 and Filippa Trippitelli was age 40 they became the parents of Raffaela Canzanelli June 21, 1904 in Brooklyn, NY. He was a skilled tailor but a poor businessman. He moved from Sulmona to Naples, Italy to New York City, Brooklyn, Syracuse, Philadelphia, Boston and finally settled the family in Medford, MA.

Giuseppe Canzanelli and Filippa Trippitelli had the following children:

3 i. Andrew Senior³ Canzanelli was born in New York, NY November 19, 1894. Andrew died August 7, 1978 at age 83. Civil Engineer - Designed the Cottage Street Bridge (later renamed the MIT Bridge) and the first music shell on the Boston Esplanade.

4 ii. Raffaele Maceo Canzanelli was born in New York, NY December 19, 1896. Raffaele died 1897 in New York, NY, at age unknown.

5 iii. Attilio Canzanelli was born in New York, NY October 21, 1898. Attilio died November 17, 1964 at age 66. Doctor, research scientist in physiology.

+ 6 iv. Pericles "Perry" Canzanelli was born November 11, 1901.

7 v. Raffaela Canzanelli was born in Brooklyn, NY June 21, 1904. Raffaela died August 23, 2001 at age 97. Studied nursing at Symmes Hospital, Arlington, MA and became a registered nurse.
