8. Isaac Karesh² Jacobs (Jacob¹ Karesh) was born in Trzcianne, Poland 1838. Isaac died August 2, 1914 in Charleston, SC, at age 76.

He married Jeanette Slager April 17, 1859 in Due West, SC. Jeanette was born about 1839 in Germany. Jeanette died December 21, 1921 in Charleston, SC, at age 82. When Jeanette was age 26 and Isaac Karesh Jacobs was age 27 they became the parents of Nathan Jacobs August 9, 1865 in Nashville, TN. When Jeanette was age 30 and Isaac Karesh Jacobs was age 31 they became the parents of Jacob Jacobs August 11, 1869 in Charleston, SC. When Jeanette was age 33 and Isaac Karesh Jacobs was age 34 they became the parents of Sarah Jacobs September 14, 1872. When Jeanette was age 38 and Isaac Karesh Jacobs was age 39 they became the parents of Louis Jacobs January 16, 1878 in Charleston, SC. When Jeanette was age 42 and Isaac Karesh Jacobs was age 43 they became the parents of Samuel Jacobs March 7, 1882 in Charleston, SC.

Isaac immigrated to destination unknown Circa 1856. When Isaac was age 27 and Jeanette Slager was age 26 they became the parents of Nathan Jacobs August 9, 1865 in Nashville, TN. When Isaac was age 31 and Jeanette Slager was age 30 they became the parents of Jacob Jacobs August 11, 1869 in Charleston, SC. When Isaac was age 34 and Jeanette Slager was age 33 they became the parents of Sarah Jacobs September 14, 1872. When Isaac was age 39 and Jeanette Slager was age 38 they became the parents of Louis Jacobs January 16, 1878 in Charleston, SC. When Isaac was age 43 and Jeanette Slager was age 42 they became the parents of Samuel Jacobs March 7, 1882 in Charleston, SC. Gave his name as Isaac ben Jacob to immigration officials so name became Jacobs in USA Possibly the Uncle Jacob mentioned in diary of Lena Perlstine's diary. Followed, with nephew Louis, sister Jane Esther (Janetta, Jeanette) and her family to US after 6 additional months in Liverpool in 1856 because of lack of funds.

Isaac Karesh Jacobs and Jeanette Slager had the following children:

12 i. Esther Rebecca³ Jacobs was born on (birth date unknown). She married Morris Bernstein date unknown. (See Morris Bernstein for the continuation of this line.)

+ 13 ii. Nathan Jacobs was born August 9, 1865.

+ 14 iii. Jacob Jacobs was born August 11, 1869.

15 iv. Sarah Jacobs was born September 14, 1872. Sarah died February 16, 1961 at age 88.

+ 16 v. Louis Jacobs was born January 16, 1878.

+ 17 vi. Samuel Jacobs was born March 7, 1882.
