1. Edwin Henry¹ Bacon was born in Georgia 1878.

He married Helen Virginia Tabb October 16, 1908 in Berkeley County, WV. Helen was born June 22, 1884. Helen was the daughter of Lewis Philip Tabb and Mary Virginia Snodgrass. Helen died April 1, 1914 at age 29. Her body was interred in Martinsburg, WV, Green Hill Cemetery. When Helen was age 26 and Edwin Henry Bacon was age 32 they became the parents of Mitchell Wood Bacon 1910. When Helen was age 27 and Edwin Henry Bacon was age 33 they became the parents of Edwin Henry Bacon Jr. November 1, 1911.

When Edwin was age 32 and Helen Virginia Tabb was age 26 they became the parents of Mitchell Wood Bacon 1910. When Edwin was age 33 and Helen Virginia Tabb was age 27 they became the parents of Edwin Henry Bacon Jr. November 1, 1911.

Edwin Henry Bacon and Helen Virginia Tabb had the following children:

2 i. Mitchell Wood² Bacon was born 1910. Mitchell died June 2, 1944 in Mere Eglise, France, at age 33. His body was interred in St. Laurent, France.

3 ii. Edwin Henry Bacon Jr. was born November 1, 1911. Edwin died June 11, 1984 at age 72. His body was interred in St. Louis, MO, Jefferson National Barracks.
