4. Jacob³ Torchin (Isaac², Gershon¹) was born in Chigiren, Russia April 21, 1893. Jacob died March 3, 1966 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at age 72.

He married Leah Devorah Raikles March 26, 1922 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Leah was born December 18, 1903 in Siemiatycze, Poland. Leah was the daughter of David Raikles and Tema Avadies. Leah died June 15, 1982 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at age 78. When Leah was age 19 and Jacob Torchin was age 29 they became the parents of Rosaline Torchin January 10, 1923 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. When Leah was age 33 and Jacob Torchin was age 44 they became the parents of Theodore Torchin August 10, 1937 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

When Jacob was age 29 and Leah Devorah Raikles was age 19 they became the parents of Rosaline Torchin January 10, 1923 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. When Jacob was age 44 and Leah Devorah Raikles was age 33 they became the parents of Theodore Torchin August 10, 1937 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Jacob Torchin and Leah Devorah Raikles had the following children:

12 i. Rosaline⁴ Torchin was born in Montreal, Quebec, Canada January 10, 1923. Rosaline died May 8, 1998 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at age 75.
