He married Minnie Bach June 19, 1932 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. Minnie was born March 12, 1898. Minnie was the daughter of Jacob Bach and Rachael Batchnovsky. Minnie died February 20, 1982 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, at age 83. When Minnie was age 36 and Gershon Torchin was age 34 they became the parents of Ruth Torchin December 22, 1934 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.
