When Rosalia was age 20 and Selig Zacharis was age 25 they became the parents of Gertrude Zacharis August 14, 1867 in Charleston, SC.

She married Philip Epstin about 1897 in Columbia, SC. Philip was born April7, 1836 in Poland. Philip was the son of Levy Epstin and Amelia Elias. Philip died August 7, 1921 in Columbia, SC, at age 85. His body was interred in Columbia, SC, Columbia Hebrew Benevolent Socie. When Philip was age 25 and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Wolf was age 24 they became the parents of girl Epstin 1861 in Columbia, SC. When Philip was age 26 and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Wolf was age 25 they became the parents of Miriam Epstin 1862 in Columbia, SC. When Philip was age 28 and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Wolf was age 27 they became the parents of Moses S. Epstin July 6, 1864 in Baltimore, MD. When Philip was age unknown and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Wolf was age unknown they became the parents of Joseph H. Epstin Sr. about 1868 in Columbia, SC. When Philip was age 35 and Elizabeth "Lizzie" Wolf was age 34 they became the parents of Essie Epstin January 13, 1872 in Greenville, SC. When Philip was age 62 and Charlotte Zacharis was age 37 they became the parents of Selig Epstin November 20, 1898 in Columbia, SC. When Philip was age 65 and Charlotte Zacharis was age 40 they became the parents of Mildred Epstin August 20, 1901 in Columbia, SC. 3 ii. Gertrude Zacharis was born in Charleston, SC August 14, 1867. Gertrude died January 18, 1959 in Charleston, SC, at age 91. She married Jacob Berkman June 9, 1897 in Charleston, SC. Jacob was born May 29, 1867 in Charleston, SC. Jacob was the son of Hyman R. Berkman and Beila Leah "Lena" Pearlstine. Jacob died April 2, 1927 in Charleston, SC, at age 59. His body was interred April 1927 in Magnolia, Charleston, SC, KKBS Orthodox Cemetery. When Jacob was age 30 and Gertrude Zacharis was age 30 they became the parents of Herman Rubin Berkman May 23, 1898 in Charleston, SC. When Jacob was age 32 and Gertrude Zacharis was age 31 they became the parents of Selig "Sidney" Berkman July 2, 1899 in Charleston, SC. When Jacob was age 34 and Gertrude Zacharis was age 34 they became the parents of Nathan Berkman August 16, 1901 in Charleston, SC.
