Individual Note

This child is truly the "mystery" child of H. Wm. and Ada Whitta. Not

only would Gladys (Whitta) Hawkins not discuss her, but no tombstone

exists in Fostoria's cemetery. The only record of her short existence

is courtesy of records at the Kaubisch Memorial Public Library in

Fostoria. I am left to assume one of two things - (1) this was a

miscarriage or (2) a still birth.
