Michael Arthur Igdaloff was a caring and gentle man, brilliant and talented. His intense passion was food and wine and he was fortunate to have attended the Culinary Institute of America and worked in Michelin starred restaurants, staging at Alinea in Chicago while in high school, and as a server at Jean Georges and Atera in New York, and Providence in Los Angeles. Michael loved preparing food for others. He was creative and artistic with the gourmet meals he prepared. His aunt, Nancy Igdaloff, was so proud of him; she celebrated his CIA graduation with dinner at The French Laundry.
Michael enjoyed traveling, especially visiting restaurants, and had wonderful trips to Israel, the United Kingdom, France, and Russia. He connected wonderfully with animals, especially while growing up with our wonderful golden retriever, Sadie. He had a special and unique bond with his sister Danielle, and was so excited to become an uncle and hold his first baby, his nephew Ryan.
