Family of Robert Marsh "Pete" SNODGRASS and Priscilla

My uncle Pete loved dogs, and grew up to serve in the K-9 Corps of the

US Army during WWII. After the war, Pete with his wife Pricilla

bought 10 acres of lake-front land at 131 Indian Head in Hanson MA and

founded the Macroom Kennel where they raised champion wire-haired Fox

Terriers all their working life. Ruthie and I loved spending summers

with them and helping with the chores and learning how Pete prepared

the dogs for show. Uncle Pete loved me and often said he would do

anything in the world for "Skip's boy." Pete died in 1979 in

Brockton, MA, at age 70.
